Meet Our Staff:
Matthew Campbell
Executive Director
Matt took over leadership of the Food Bank in April, 2022, arriving with 16 years of previous service at Northwest Harvest and Hopelink. He has lived in Monroe for 20 years with his wife and two sons–Connor, 19, and Caleb, 16. In his spare time, he loves to watch his sons compete in the sports they play, and he loves to travel and find great food!
Carla Stewart
Administrative Director
Carla has been working in the Food Bank office since 2005, and she became the Administrative Director in 2007. She loves writing thank-you notes to our donors. When she’s not at the Food Bank she’s either babysitting her grandson or out run/walking with her husband.
Jennifer Reasoner
Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator
Jen has been with the Food Bank since 2015, when she was hired to manage the Index Mobile Food Bank. She loves interacting with all the customers and volunteers. When Jen isn’t at the Food Bank, she loves spending time in her yard wrangling her two Welsh corgis and her husband.
Lisa Wiken
Office Assistant
Lisa started volunteering with the Food Bank in 2020, delivering food boxes to people’s homes during COVID. She has continued to help with distribution ever since, and now works in the office one morning per week. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys the outdoors, baking, playing piano, and spending time with family and friends.
Angie Kelleher
Warehouse Lead
Angie is our newest staff member who started working here in May, 2024. Born and raised in Monroe, she is now raising her own family here. She has 3 kids–Alyssa, 16, Lucy, 13, and Easton, 8, plus 3 crazy cats. She enjoys volunteering at their schools and all their events, and spending time with family and friends. She has been working in the real estate industry for the last 15 years and maintains her real estate career at Windermere Real Estate Snohomish.

Katy Woods, President
Branch Manager & Vice President, Coastal Community Bank
Katy has lived in Monroe with her family since 1997. She is the Branch Manager for Coastal Community Bank Monroe and Sultan locations, and also provides financial education classes for business owners. Katy has been on the board of the Food Bank since 2015, and believes the best way to make a difference in the community is by serving others.
Jesse Fish, President-Elect
Owner/Broker, Windermere Real Estate/Snohomish
Jesse graduated from Monroe High School before attending the University of Washington. After 15 years of retail management in Seattle he moved home to begin a community-focused career in residential real estate in Monroe. Jesse is currently the owner and designated broker at Windermere Real Estate / Snohomish Inc. He believes strongly in building community through service and involvement, and has been a volunteer at the Food Bank since 2018.
Eric DeBelly, Treasurer
IT Manager, AT&T
Eric DeBelly has been an avid supporter of the Food Bank since 2006 when he worked on a graduate school project benefiting the Sky Valley Food Bank. Eric is a program manager for AT&T and applies his skills as the current Board Treasurer. When not working or supporting the Food Bank, Eric is a runner and self-described “worst ukulele player.”
Vince Bertrand, Secretary
CESCL/Stormwater Coordinator, City of Monroe
Vince has worked for the City of Monroe as the Environmental Coordinator for the past 16 years. He is an active volunteer in the community, and started working with the Food Bank in 2018. When time allows, Vince and his family enjoy spending time at Lake Chelan.
Denise Jacobsen, Director
Retired Administrator, Monroe Parks & Recreation
Denise retired in 2021 after more than 33 years working with the City of Monroe. She now has more time to perfect her golf game, travel, and continue to volunteer. She has been a volunteer at the Food Bank since 2010.
Kevin McPeters, Director
Business Owner and Retired Commercial Fisherman
Kevin was a commercial fisherman for 46 years, and now owns Dumpling Dump Trucking. He also drives a school bus in Skykomish. He lives in Index with his wife of 32 years, and has two grown daughters. He has been a volunteer at the Food Bank since 2014.
Dr. Travis Magelsen, Director
Home Loan Consultant/Dentist
Travis and his wife Melissa have been raising their six kids here in Monroe since 2001. Travis’s life mission is to relieve pain and improve others’ quality of life with integrity and skill. Travis appreciates how this community values people and responds to the needs of our neighbors. He has been a volunteer at the Food Bank since 2018.
Laura Johansen, Director
Bookkeeper and Business Owner
Laura has been a bookkeeper for 35 years and a volunteer at the Sky Valley Food Bank for 14 years. Her husband and children have also volunteered here over the years, and their family business, Johansen Mechanical, has long been a supporter. They were all inspired by her father, a longtime volunteer at the SVDP Food Bank in Everett.
Mark Dunn, Director
Vice President, Mindbody
Mark is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in business process and operations, serving as the Vice President of Customer Experience at Mindbody. Having called the Monroe area home for 25 years, he brings a deep-rooted commitment to the community. As a newly dedicated board member, Mark will leverage his expertise to ensure efficient operations and effective strategies to serve those in need.
Junelle Lewis, Director
Business Owner and Family Support Specialist, Everett School District
Junelle has been a Monroe resident since 2018. She is a proud wife and mother to eight children. She has been active in the community since her arrival, working in the Monroe School District and supporting local non-profits. She currently works as a Family Support Specialist in the Everett School District and understands the importance of supporting our community’s most vulnerable members. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education. Serving others is a central value for her, and she is honored to contribute to this board. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys watching movies with her children, exploring Black History, and hiking.
